It was a real pleasure to welcome my first group of participants to the Lino printing Workshop in February. After a brief overview of the materials and technical possibilities of lino, everyone began work on their selected designs. There was a tremendous variety of styles and approaches to design – varying from bold, sweeping lines to the finest, most subtle strokes.
I enjoyed helping people to develop their ideas, and then introducing them to the magic of print: the moment when a cut design becomes a graphic image in black and white.
I will be running several more sessions this year, and you are warmly invited to join us – please see the following link for details of how to book on to the next workshop.
