More about Bradley’s Corner
Bradley’s Corner is a crossroads, just around the corner from where I live. There are a few shops: a hairdresser’s, a butcher’s, a laundrette, and an off-license. Nothing remarkable at first glance and yet… this little corner is a focal point on the long, straight Ferndale Road that bisects this part of Swindon.

So many stories could be told about the local families who shop, dry their washing and wait for lifts here in the early hours to get to their shifts in warehouses or factories.

I like to sketch and paint what is happening locally, and I have spent lots of time on Bradley’s Corner. A couple of years ago I made a series of paintings there at dawn to record the changing light as day broke. The paintings are available for purchase; do send me a message if you would like further details.
